About the show:
A journey through time and space...the mysteries of the universe...and puppets doing weird stuff. That's what you can expect from this summer's production of The Fabulous Adventures of Alan Swift (...Or Journey to the Center of Queer).
Alan Swift is a humble banker from civil-war-era New York with a shameful secret. At the precipice of a violent death, he is greeted by a mystical prankster who sends him off on a journey to change the very course of history. On his way, Alan meets all manner of figures from every age of human civilization, from Ancient Mesopotamia to the Summer of Love, and nobody acts quite the way they did in the history books. But throughout his adventure, Alan is bugged by a singular question...should he maintain history, or possibly change it for the better?
That, and puppets.
A reception shall be held prior to the show at 7:15, featuring an art gallery, a band, snacks, and wine/beer. The curtain will rise at 8:00pm.
