cARTel: Collaborative Arts LA | Great events make life better
A CREATIVE PRODUCTION COMPANY BUILDING IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCES THAT FOCUS ON DISCOVERY, STORYTELLING, AND IMPACT.

CARTEL: COLLABORATIVE ARTS LA

We believe that there is a powerful connection between art and business and cARTel exists not only to bring our own vision to the world, but to activate the vision of the brands, businesses, and thought leaders that inspire us.

We believe that the right experience transforms a random Thursday into one of the best days of your life.

We believe that discovery is at the heart of innovation. We take time to find and cultivate what’s next, what’s fresh, and what connects.

We believe that tried-and-true is boring. If others have tried it, and it’s true, it’s time for something new.

We believe in kindness and collaboration. Not just when it’s convenient, and definitely when it’s hard.

We believe the next big thing starts here.

We are cARTel. Let’s do this.

Press

“…Intimate, pioneering, conceptually brilliant”

LAist

“The wild West days of the world’s film festivals are not over…There is still plenty of room for up-and-coming filmmakers to get their stuff submitted, accepted, and seen at festivals. Case in point — the No Budget Film Festival.”

Film School Rejects

“…downtown-meets-the-Crab-Nebula-coolness”

NBC LA

“The third installment of this locals-only fest is quickly earning a reputation as the Puppy Bowl of Coachella season counterprogramming — the must-see show for everyone who doesn’t care for the main event. Held at the arts complex just east of the L.A. River, it culls some rising residency-circuit acts like Kera & the Lesbians, Body Parts and Mystery Skulls with a newly expanded hip-hop lineup (L.A. spitfire Nocando) and dance bill. Best part? Tickets are just $10, about the price of a sandwich in Indio this week.”

LA Times

“An exemplary illustration of how co-written group theatre should be.”

The LAist

“L.A.’s best third date idea. … The poignant, often shocking sketches portray stories and secrets from the ensemble’s own family histories.”
